Hedgehogs

We have begun learning about what hedgehogs are, and what they look like. We have learnt interesting facts about what they eat and what we should feed them if ever we find them outside of hibernation. Additionally, we learnt about hedgehog houses and how we can build them. This had led to some fantastic designs and creations in provision, using bricks, leaves, and planks. Our class response to learning about the appearance of hedgehogs was to make some delicious hedgehog bread rolls. We worked hard using our fine motor skills to shape the bread and considered how we could create the spikes, eyes and nose of the hedgehog.
