Anti-Bullying
At Queen's Drive, it is our aim to ensure that every member of the school community feels valued and respected, and that each person is treated fairly. We are a caring school family and our values are built on mutual respect for all.
'Being healthy' and 'being respectful' are two of our fours values. We educate children to develop healthy relationships and respect for one another. Within our Personal, Social, Health Education and Relationships Education Curriculum and through our school culture we develop emotional regulation and develop language arounds emotions.
We recognise that bullying or child on child abuse is harmful to individual children. We therefore so all we can to develop a school ethos in which bullying is regarded as unacceptable. We accept that bullying can and does occur in our School. It is therefore our aim to ensure that all our children involved in a bullying or child on child abuse incident receive the right support. As an inclusive school we promote an ethos where there is no discrimination against any pupil.
At Queen's Drive we have a number of anti-bullying ambassadors who are there for children to talk to when required. These children have been trained to listen and support our children.
Our anti-bullying policy works in line with our behaviour policy and our safeguarding policy, which includes child-on-child abuse. All bullying incidents are logged, monitored internally and reported to our Governing Body on an annual basis.
