This half term, Year 5 have been reaching for the stars as they explored the fascinating topic of space. From creating detailed models of the solar system to understanding the science behind night and day, the children have been captivated by the wonders of the universe.

In English, they brought their creativity to life with a series of exciting writing units. They delved into sci-fi narratives, weaving imaginative tales of adventures beyond the stars, crafted beautiful space poetry filled with cosmic imagery, and produced informative information texts packed with fascinating facts about space.
